One year later and we have that van. Well, it’s still getting it’s finishing touches but it’s practically here.
I got a call from a friend that there was a handicap accessible van for sale on the side of the road. So my wife and I went to where it was and called the number. To make a long story short the owner ended up giving us the van. All we had to do is pay for his costs to get the van registered. Ii want to thank Mark Magazzo for this donation. The van was his fathers (who has passed away).
Since the van had been sitting for some time it needed some service to get it back on the road. We also needed to get the suspension taken care of. Well, this was completely donated by a guy named Russell in Patterson, NJ. He heard Petey’s story and was compelled to help. I have to not only thank Russell but Pete at Drive Mater. Pete did the leg work to connect us with Russell and is now working on getting the side door working.
So yes we have it, but it’s still has a couple of steps to go before it is completely ready. Don’t worry we will give you full updates when it’s ready.
We just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped us and donated to make this possible. THANK YOU!!!
