Am I crazy to think that marketers will promote this launch to their lists even though they aren’t making affiliate commissions? Is it enough that their list members will get one the best deals ever?
Maybe I am naive. But my thoughts are that we are in this business to help other people succeed. If our passion is to see others reach their potential and not just “get boatloads of money” then this promotion should be a no brainer.
Not only does this launch carry with it an incredible cause (a little taste of freedom for a kid who is suffering from a terminal disease), but the package will be loaded with awesome products designed for results.
If I wasn’t the one running this launch I would have to say I would gladly help promote. I do understand that marketers are protective of their lists and they should be. They have worked hard to build the relationships they have.
Again I could be ignorant, but wouldn’t their list be impressed to see a promotion without an affiliate link or cleverly disguised redirect? Wouldn’t that only give them good PR?
I see it as a chance for that marketer to answer that question that’s in most of their lists’ minds… “Do they really care, or do they only think about making more money off me?”
Please don’t take this post the wrong way. I am just thinking out loud. I would love to hear your take on all this. I know I’m not thinking of everything. So don’t be afraid to politely correct my thinking if needed. Thanks!
